All of the success that anyone in any industry in any part of life or sport ever achieved is down to one thing.
Where people have achieved extraordinary success, it has been because to this, the commitment to their cause.

It’s not about their belief or passion.

They’re just driven.

It’s about what they do, why they do it and what their behaviours transformed into.

That is what they dedicate all of their time to, achieving their goal.

If you want to build a better business that is remarkably different in a years time than where it is today then you need to do this as well.

Commit to change of behaviour.

As we all know, if we always do what we’ve always done, then we’ll always get what we’ve always got.

If you want to build your business profit then you’ve got to find the time to figure out how to do just that.

Time is the only true limiting resource that we’ve got available to us. Ability and skills can be bought in, cash can be raised. Everything apart from your time you can acquire elsewhere.

What you need to do as a business owner is spend some time mapping out where you are now and where you want to be and then analysing what that gap is.

That’s the first hurdle, understanding what the gap is and then figuring out exactly what you need to do to close it.

Make changes incrementally. Small at first.

Utilise a compound effect. If you don’t believe in a compound effect then grab a spreadsheet and work this out:

If you save one pence today, two pence tomorrow, four pence the day after that and then continue to double it each day for the next 31 days, how much you’ll have after that 31st day.

That’s the power of a compound effect.
